The Meaning Behind Our Logo
The logo reflects a reality that we see every day: that People With Disabilities are role models, not people who we need to mainstream. This is because most of us would be exhausted with the effort a person with a disability puts in to just get ready to go to work, before then putting in a full day's work.
In only looking at their physical limitations, we are often blind to their grit, their determination, their willingness to go that extra yard.
The logo tries to go beyond a wheelchair as representative of People With Disabilities: the jigsaw puzzle reflects the challenges of intellectual disabilities; of technological advances that level playing fields, that serve as equalisers; and of the contradictions of technology that breed dependence, while also accelerating independence.
